For Chamonix, I was brought on to create designs and illustrations for both snowboards and softgoods that would speak to people ready to get into an active outdoor lifestyle.

With the mission of making gear more accessible without sacrificing quality, Chamonix’s products allow participants to stretch one’s budget in pursuit of both adventure and leisure.

BEARTOOTH

The Beartooth is a one of a kind ride and needed an eye-catching graphic to match.

Created with digital painting techniques and a unique “see-through” illustration style, Chamonix knew right away that this design perfectly paired with the Beartooth’s updated, modern shape and fun, floaty riding style.

SPIRIT ELK

The Spirit Elk was designed for riders seeking performance and style, so naturally I knew this graphic needed a special touch.

The process started by experimenting with high res scans of heavily textured paint I created on canvas paper. The result is a very unique, layered look combined with digital illustration.

The Spirit Elk was a truly multi-medium design process, starting out analog with paper and paint with the final layout being produced digitally after employing color correction and transparency effect techniques.
