Time Waits for No One
COMMISSION ART:
Everyone has an inescapable relationship with time.
On a daily basis, we can simultaneously feel like it’s dragging on and that we’ll never have enough of it.
The only certainty is that our time is finite.
My own relationship with time has been plagued by watching the minutes pass during many a sleepless night. The catalyst for these commissions, an original piece titled Bedtime, depicting an alarm clock at 3:33 am, is directly from my experience of insomnia and falling asleep well into the morning hours.
For myriad reasons, so many of us have times we’re connected to, drawn to, or notice coming up consistently in our lives. You might regularly glance up and see 11:11, 12:34, or 4:20. Maybe you often think of the time you or your children were born. Maybe your partner proposed right at midnight on New Year’s Eve.
Whatever your connection to time, for a limited amount of it, you can commission a 12” x 18” painting of your time of choice for $200.
The Logistics:
Half payment ($100) is required up front as a deposit. You can pay by Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal, as well as check or cash if you’re in Bend or feel comfortable mailing them.
Paintings typically take two weeks to complete and then 3-5 business days to ship. If you need it sooner, please let me know via the form, and I will do my best to accommodate.
Each commission uses the same color palette as my painting Bedtime, but let me know via the form if there’s a specific palette you have in mind and I’m able to be flexible.
